FAQs
Culture
Company culture is hugely important to us and is reflected in our values as an organisation. We put people first and have an inclusive and diverse environment that aims to foster success in a positive, forward-thinking way.
All employees have significant shares in Encompass which makes people genuinely invested in the success of the company. We have a culture of continuous improvement where new ideas and positive challenge are encouraged.
Company Values
- Be Humble
- Be Strategic
- Be agile
- Be Fun
- Be Excellent
Flexible Working Policy
We want employees to have a good work life balance and genuine flexibility that suits them. To this end we have no core business hours so as long as you are working around key meetings your time is relatively your own. We are an output driven company who hires good people and trusts them to do their job to an excellent standard!
We are operating a flexible working policy and will continue to do so as we recognise the values in both remote and in-person. We are asking employees to come into their office twice a month minimum, although you are welcome in as much as you want!
What is KYC?
In all regulated industries, where there are governmental rules around how companies operate, whenever a company over a certain size onboards a new business as a customer, they must do certain background checks on them. This helps prevent financial crime and money laundering and thus cuts off avenues of funding for organised crime and terrorism.
Learning and Development
We pride ourselves on equipping our employees for success in their role but also in future positions as we understand that people do not normally stay at one company for their entire career. If the skills and experience you acquire here aid your career growth out-with Encompass then we count that as a success!
We have a dedicated Performance and Development Manager who helps guide your learning and allows you to tailor your professional development in a way that benefits you long term. We also give all employees full access to Udemy and frequently put people through certifications.
Interview Process
We try to run a swift and effective recruitment process that is thorough without being drawn out and too time consuming. We aim to make our interviews engaging and conversational as we understand recruitment is a two way process; it has to be right for you as well as for us! We appreciate not every interview will be successful and will ensure that everyone receives constructive feedback and will also welcome feedback from you.
The process can vary slightly depending on the position, but here is the standard template we use:
- Engagement call with the Talent Team
- Initial interview with team or hiring manager
- Final Interview
- Offer Letter and Contract
- Onboarding
